Quality, compassionate outpatient psychiatric care focusing on patients aged 5-65 years old residing on the Eastern Shore of Maryland for a reasonable private pay fee.
Dr. Hall’s private practice specializes in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of mental health issues specific for children and adolescents primarily with psychotropic/psychiatric medications. Common conditions treated include: mood disorders, anxiety disorders, thought and psychotic disorders.
Dr. Hall believes that medications are a personal choice/ decision and generally gives a broad range of treatment options which the client/parent decides upon. I am conservative, like to keep medications to a minimum and safe as possible.
Lab tests are ordered according to AACAP and APA guidelines.

Virtual files will be kept on our EHR platform Luminello which is HIPPA compliant and aides significantly in keeping the paper volume to a minimum.

Patients leaving a session will receive a clear concise plan, a paper or virtual prescription for his/her/their psychiatric medications and a follow up appt. Vitals are taken in the office.

Once stable on their medications, patients will be expected to maintain at least quarterly medication checks. If stable for one year, patients will be seen every four months per Dr. Hall’s discretion.

Gene sight testing is available.
It is recommended that patients with more severe needs or those who are in crisis seek service at a higher level of care such as an IOP or inpatient unit. There are many fine institutions in our area including Kennedy Krieger, Johns Hopkins and Sheppard Pratt all of which are easily resourced through the internet.

Due to their complex nature and requirement for a multi-team treatment approach, Addiction disorders are beyond the scope of practice for Blue Heron Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
